My motherboard makes me cry

Just 2 days ago I started getting random blue screens with PageFault_In_Unpaged_Area. Okay so I've got a memory problem. memtest86'd it and yeah, there are errors. So I try each stick individually and there are no errors. I figured out that it's the slot in my mobo that's the problem. The crappy thing is it's the slot I NEED to have populated in order to run dual channel mode.

So it's stable, but no longer running dual channel. Ah well.

And everything is almost 1 year old now too...

I guess it's time to relegate this mobo+cpu to a seti box and finally spring for the A64 3000+ and a new mobo for o/c abilities. So I've got a question now:

If I'm going to get the max out of the 3000+, what fsb will I be looking at? Basically, will my PC3500 ram cut it, or will I have to get new stuff?

Second, can anyone recommend a good K8T800 Pro mobo for overclocking? I *might* go NF3, but I'd rather not. Also, what's the timeline on nf4 and will it have an AGP slot? I'm gonna be keeping my 9800 AIW for a while...

Edit: Oh and onboard SATA is a must too... I've got 2 SATA drives and one PATA. thx.

You only really need ddr400 ram, so pc3500 will most definitely work, and give some OC headroom. You may want ram thats rated higher if you wanna oc, as some people go as high as ddr590. For a mobo, the Asus one is a good OCer, but performs slighly slower than other mobos. The Soltek one is very fast, very stable but only seems to OC to about 250 fsb. Soltek is saying their working on some bios updates to fix this, but won't guarantee anything. nf4 will be pci express only, and all new mobos have sata ports.

So there's no point waiting for the PCI-E for me. I'm happy with my 9800P and will be for quite some time I think.

Oh one more thing:

What's a good hs/fan for the A64 3000? How high can you get with the stock cooler? Will my Vantec Aeroflow fit/be better?
