my monitor screen is black but keyboard,mouse works

Hey guys, my computer screen is black but i can see light of keyboard and mouse and approve that they are working.
but monitor screen is just black and dont get signal from the computer..

I dont know but i recently changed the computer fan but its working fine
can anyone help me
 
Let's start with the basics:

Is the monitor plugged into the power outlet?
Is the monitor turned on?
Is the VGA/DVI cable plugged into the monitor and the correct video output on the PC?
 
Unplug the PC. Try these things:
- Make sure you didn't unplug the power connector(s) to your video card if it uses the extra 6 or 8-pin connectors. (I've done this one.)
- Pop out and re-seat all the cards and RAM modules.
- Try resetting CMOS.
