I have a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930SB at 1024x768 resolution, everytime i start a new game and its default resolution is lower like 800x600 the screen gets all hourly glass(its curved on the sides)??
If i change the game resolution back up to 1024x768 its back to normal
why is it doing this??

Albatron 5900NU with latest forceware
running a dual monitor with a Dell 1800FP

any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks!!

Try recalling monitor to factory defaults in OSD.

If that doesn't fix it, then you will have to manually adjust the monitor settings to look how you want it to.

Won't windows permit you to roll back to the older drivers for the 5900.

My 5200U acted squirrelly with the new drivers two months ago, so I rolled back and all is OK.
Its worth a try :) or reinstall the new drivers.

Most monitors save settings per resolution *and* refresh rate and you'll need to adjust it for each mode that you use. Right now your 1024x768@XXMHz is setup properly and your 800x600@XXMHz is not. While it's in the mode that's messed up, adjust it and you'll be set from then on out. Note that some monitors have a "store" or "save settings" feature that enables the settings you've made to be saved while others save the settings for the given mode automatically. Your manual should cover this.
