Hi guys ive just bought a new psu and a new GPU (7970oc) ive plugged everything in right but my monitor isn't picking it up.....ive tried connecting it to the on board chip and that works fine.... what could the problem be????
Change the setting in BIOS so that the PCI card is detected first.
And disable the IGP while you're at it.
Tell us more about your specs, i.e. mb, cpu, monitor
can u use dvi?[/Q
i can but the dvi port is on the mobo not the gpu
No DVI on the GPU????? A 7970 should have at least 1 DVI.
Sounds like the PSU to me. Do you have the old PSU?i booted it before i got my new psu and it worked fine but one the new one came in. no display![]()
Psu is not the issue here. Also please ensure that the 8+6 pin connectors are properly secured.Toughpower XT 875 is a very good psui booted it before i got my new psu and it worked fine but one the new one came in. no display![]()
