My mom's going to Japan...what should she bring back?

She has an emergency trip to see family over there and she offered to pick something up for me if she had some free time.
I know some great Minidisc players are available over there but I don't use MDs. Any other neat electronics or other things I should have her pick up? Food and candy is a given, I just don't know if there is any good gadgetry to have her look for.

Stuff I do not need or want:

- Japanese girls
- Skyline
- Anime
- VCDs / Pirated media

I've decided I'm going to get a couple Bit Char-G cars and some Domokun stuff.

I thought about a cell phone but apparently the Japanese cell system is nonstandard and incompatible with the US's.
 
Japanese girls? 😉 I dunno really, depends on what you're interested in mostly...I have friends that go home all the time (from school), and the most I can think of is bootleg CDs and DVDs, really.

How about a cell phone the size of a watch? Something extra small. Laptop/handheld (provided they offer them in english) Or if you have ps2, get some imported games. Theres this really cool soccer game I played on my friends PS2, and it totally kicked the sh!t out of anything made in north america.

Really, theres nothing much you can get there that your cant get here (cause you said no to most of the hard to find or interesting stuff). 🙂

Or... how about REALLY COOL TOILET! The once with cameras and colerful water and a built in cam to take pictures of you ass. 😀

Japanese phones DO NOT work in the states.... DOCOMO is slowly partnering with ATT but different services and phone types etc
