My mole is confused :(

Because it's been hot as hell here in California, I've been walking around with my shirt off (calm down ladies) and I got a small sunburn a week ago. Today my mom notices this white mark about the size of a nipple on my upper back. It's like a white halo with a faint pink middle.

So I look it up on the internet and I guess the sunburn made my body attack the mole and thus goodbye to mole, hello to halo. So now it looks like I have an albino nipple on my back. Oh noes 🙁

Except my skin color isn't that dark and the middle is faint pink, not red.
 
yeah... get that checked out.

I don't want to read a "Just got back from the doctor. I have cancer" post.

If I did get it checked out and I did have cancer, you'd read that thread though 🙁

Yeah, I have an appointment with the dermatologist to ask him about removal of a different mole, might as well ask about this one 🙂

I'm sorry, but I'm chuckling. 😛 I too have moles, so I understand. However, your picture looks so much like a nipple; so that's why I'm chuckling. 😛 Forgive me.... 😱

On serious note: Yes, get it checked soon. You don't want to mess with your health. 🙂
