My A7V133 rev. 1.04 just arrived.

Now if my damn Enermax EG-351P-VE PS can arrive, I'll be able to have Pop (my retailer) fix my FOP32-1 HS + Arctic Silver to the 1GHz Tbird I got from Compuwiz1 and start crunching ~1000 blocks a day at 7.5x133MHz FSB. Let it run at default for a week then start checking how high this baby can go (I know that Steve tested it stable at 1150 on a MSI Pro2A with Radio-Shack goo and a 100MHzFSB). Let's see if it will like the new mobo and Arctic Silver enough to get an extra 50MHz out.

Not bad at all. I'm still waiting for my PAL6035 to arrive. I've got a brand new A7V133 & a TBird 800 sitting at home waiting to be played with. As soon as I get it up & running I'll probably start cracking again. It'll only be a 1 gig TBird most likely, but it's better than nothing. Once I get some money I'll pick up a 1.2 or 1.3 gig TBird & go higher. And if I really feel like spending some money I'll invest in a vapochill case. Wonder how high a 1.2 gig TBird would go at sub-freezing temps?

LED could tell you where it's from but the original link only leads to a counter now. Anyway, someone in Japan got over 2GHz with Nitrogen cooling and mainboard modifications about a month ago for a Thunderbird.

Nitrogen's a little extreme.

I want my PC to remain usable & reasonably portable, so vapochill is a very attractive solution. The only bad part is the price tag, although once I'm out of debt I'll easily be able to afford it. There's a lot of other stuff I want first, though, like a good monitor. I'm gettin' a little sick of the 15".
