What are your temps and voltages at that speed? Also what kind of ram you got?

wow that's a low temp! what kind of hsf are you using and what kind of mobile XP? i have a 2600+ and i've got it at 2400 (12x200) and it idles at 38C. but then again, i'm using an old HCC-001 (Coolermaster Heatpipe) on it. i think you'll hit 2.6 or more with those low temps. oh, btw, i'm only running my mobile at 1.45v.

Are you serious? You can OC to 2.4Ghz @ 1.45v? I find that hard to believe. =P

Is it? I replaced it with a Silent Boost for a friend because he complained about noise and I let the HHC-001 collect dust in my room. If it's that good maybe I'll put it to use ;)

i'm sorry, it's actually set at 1.65. that's still not too high, but it's definitely not 1.45. i know i didn't to raise the core voltage up much when i overclocked it. it's not running something crazy like 1.80V+.

as for the HCC-001, it's a great cooler, it kept my 1700+ really cool but then i upgraded to this mobile barton and didn't have the money for a SLK-947 or any TT heatsink. for a while i had it w/ a fan adapter and a 80mm Delta, then i switched back to the 60mm fan. it is quite loud, but it cools well. it's the original heatpipe cooler. i have the fan on the adjustable rail on my Antec TrueControl 550w so i can adjust the speed at night. but i'd recommend it for any of the old AthlonXP's or a Barton, just don't overclock too much w/ it.
