My mistake.... sorry...

Ok, Dell will refund my shipping on a return if I scan a copy of my ups receipt. It comes out to 94K jpg. I tried resizing on Irfanview but I must be doing something wrong. How can I get my scan under 20kb (since that is the limit on Yahoo Mail) or is there some other way that I can send the full 94kb scan to Dell?

Thanks for any help.

I have Yahoo SBC dsl and use Yahoo mail. It says attachments are limited to 20KB. I will try saving it as a gif it that is smaller.

Largest message you are able to send from SBC\Yahoo mail is 10mb (combined MSG+Attachment)

From the SBC\Yahoo website:

What's the largest message I can send?
With Yahoo! Mail Plus, you may send messages up to 10MB (non-encoded) in size

Have you tried to zip the file down. Most bitmaps (.bmp/Tiff) will compress nicely.

my mistake. Sorry to trouble everyone. I failed the first time to get the attachment to go. Looked where it said 20mb limit. Went blind and got frusterated and thought I saw 20kb. Went to Yahoo mail when I went dsl. Its new to me. 😱
