My microwave is suck!

it doesnt cook worth a sh|t. its really uneven (ie: one side hot, one side cold)

does your microwave do this too?

Nope, and it's like 13 years old too, it has the rotating assembly-thingy to keep it from cooking unevenly 😀

the rotating thing broke in mine! the thing is ancient!

Has it always been like this? If not, maybe the stirrer is broken (up top--can't see it: looks like a propeller).

i opened it up before when the fan broke.. the plate is belt driven (ie: rubber band driven) and the elastic has stretched too much in 20 yrs..

Yeah I used to have an old old microwave with one of those belt driven fans. The belt broke one day and I replaced it with an ordinary rubber band, it worked fine for 2 more years on the same rubber band🙂, I ended up buying a new microwave just because the old one was ugly.

well, more like about 60 or 70 bucks but they are cheap.

My microwave is an ancient Kenmore .......... Made in 1983 &amp; was given to me for free about 3 years ago .

18 years old &amp; still pops popcorn in about 3-3.5 minutes **LOL**
I just use it mostly for that &amp; warming up soup 🙂
