my mic isnt loud enough

its quiet as hell my friend cant hear me in teamspeak, i think there must be a way for me to manually amplify it with software(I already maxxed the volume out with windows) please help
 
Volume Controls -> Check Advanced Settings in Options -> Go to Properties -> Click Recording -> Make sure Mic is selected, click OK -> Click advanced under mic and hit +20db Boost
 
Hi, Mikes and sound cards come with different specs. Wrong impedence Mike will not drive the sound card to max. Try another Mike. Luck, Jim
