my mic is not working correctly

hello my mic is really messed up it works on my old computer but not on my new one. When i talk into it .. i hear what i say out the speakers but the person i am trying to talk to does not hear it. I have tried testing it, unmuting etc. Do you know how to fix this ?I have checked and yes i am putting it in the right plugin and i have tried setting it up and i have tried reinstalling msn messenger!If you can help that would be great!
Ps. i am using msn to talk 😕
 
nvm bout my other post ... their are 3 ones to select "line in" "microphone" and "cd player" i chose microphone and its still not working
