...it was Musk who has been trying to get a date with Amber Heard for nearly three years. The Hollywood Reporter got ahold of leaked correspondence that Musk sent director Robert Rodriguez and others in 2013, when the actress and the tech giant were briefly on set for the same film (Machete Kills). Even then he was trying to get a date with Heard:

“If there is a party or event with Amber, I’d be interested in meeting her just out of curiosity,” Musk wrote. “Allegedly, she is a fan of George Orwell and Ayn Rand … most unusual.”

In another email, he asserted he knew she was in a long-term relationship but that she just “seems like an interesting person to meet.” “Can you send her a note saying I would like to get together for lunch in LA?” he wrote in another email. “Am not angling for a date.” Sounds like he was!

Why do random strangers find it delightful that a billionaire can get a date with a hot girl? He's not even an ugly or old or fat billionaire, he actually looks like an above-average looking guy. I wish I could get a date with Elon Musk, he's so awesome- my wife says I've a man crush and she's absolutely right, the guy is a visionary. In 20-25 years he'll be responsible for every cool advancement in Sci-Fi technology and when the robots are using our carcasses to feed the machine, it'll be because of him too!
