Only about 45/140 registered students show up for the lectures. That's how bad his teaching is.

Anyone ever had a class like that where there's only a small percentage of people who actually go to class because the teacher sucks at teaching?

my microecon class had much better attendance, which is also a big freshman level class. attendance was not mandatory.

honestly, your time is wasted if you go to his lecture. he teaches straight out of the book, uses the author's powerpoints for his lectures, and once in a while has 2 minute pauses in the middle of his class. you're better off reading the book and teaching everything yourself.

I consider myself borderline retarded. It's a miracle that I'm not kicked out of school yet.

Maybe the textbooks are really good. Ever thought of that?

My MicroEcon class' professor is horrible as heck. I believe the only reason students go to his lecture is because we're all paying 50k+ a year to take classes here...

Lecture attendance is actually often no indication of good or bad teaching style. It's really more dependent on subject matter than anything.

And it's also after midterms, and the period after midterms always has lower attendance.

He might be a horrible teacher, but even if he was a good teacher not that many more students would be there.
