No clear winner...

Installed the new version of Google Earth which started itself up. That's when it entered Lala Land. Winamp started freezing up for 10-15 seconds at a time and only resumed whenever Google Earth finished loading another bit of UI or whatever it was doing. Managed to get Task Manager up and thought I had clicked on End Task when the close dialog just disappeared and I was like oh nooooooes as the sound kept freaking.

Off switch 4TW!
