My Macbook trackpad button is messed up :(

I have a 1.83Ghz C2D white Macbook. When I take if off my keyboard/mouse, it keeps thinking it's clicking. It has caved in... I was gonna sell this thing but would like to fix it. Is it easy?

The right side of the button is flush with the body for about a inch...

Edited title, watch the harsh language in the titles, even if its a derivation of said word.

If the palmrest also has cracking in it, then you can take it to an Apple Store and they will replace it for free.

The button is not easily removed (I am not even sure that it can be removed). So replacing the entire topcase is the best solution.

Damn that's gonna sound like a hassle.... :-/

It's not cracking.

The crappy part is that I barely ever used this laptop that way. 90% of the time it's hooked to a keyboard and mouse. I only found out recently when I took it downstairs to do some stuff.

Do you still have AppleCare? Generally they're pretty good about replacing worn-out keyboards and trackpads.
