The Kroger I worked at sold it year round. In 1L cans, I believe it was Borden brand...
I wouldn't exactly call eggnogg "elixir of the gods", but it is good stuff for sure. Although I have never had pre-made eggnogg, always made it myself.

The store is stocking Festival brand. So good!!!!

OMG. festival is the best. neilson and other crap like that is the worst.
 
I love Eggnog... usually I but that cheap knockoff "holiday nog" stuff. I cannot drink it unless it's December though, otherwise its just so wrong

It is not chunky, but instead very smooth.

It has a rather strong/odd taste so I don't think it goes well with sammaches.
