my local drive soace is red lined

system dell 531 pc vista home basic ie7 I have 2 drive C and E local my E disk is always low on space ,I noticed I have tried disk clean up , disk managment to extend ,it wont extend either disk , in control pannel there isnt any programs to uninstall except adobe reader , until I need it agian then I have to reinstall it . I have a Usb flash drive 4GB that I tried ready boost to get more space on drive E, how ever it chooses drive C ,I have plenty of space on C , what can I do to get so some of the freespace tranfered over to the E drive ,If its the right thing to do to eliminate my low space problem, here is a screenshot

I dont know if iy installed on drive E or not , the low disk space pop up recomends to free up space in the controll panel ?

your right adobe is on drive C I believe that its just in the program when a pop up for low pace pops up it then opends another dialog box stateing you can free more space by deleting programs in the comtol pannel

hi FATTY kING HERE IS A SCREENSHOP OF MY PROGRAM FILES OF BOTH THEH C AND E DRIVES A

The next step is to identify how much space each of those folders is using on the E: drive.

For example, are you keeping a bunch of junk files inside the Movie Maker folder? maybe all 4 GB is consumed there, and you can delete it?

You can get this information easily using a program that visually tells you how much space is used by each folder, perhaps use this program:

It should let you show the space used visually, like this:

But I still wonder, are you actually using Drive E: for anything? Even though it has files stored on it, are you really using it for anything useful?

Look to me like you have Windows installed on both drives.

Yeah what is up with that? lol. No one here can tell you what to do with drive E because no one here knows who put windows on that dirve, what it was placed on there for, etc. It could be an old copy, a temporary test copy, a backup copy, who knows. It is on you to tell us that.

Since it has windows on it, it is safe to assume that it is your windows folder that is taking up the most space.

Try running easeus partition master. Resize your C drive down to make it 10GB smaller. Then resize your E drive to make it 10GB bigger. When that is done you'll have plenty of space. There are videos on youtube that go over partition resizing step by step. It is very simple but requires a reboot.
