My Lipton Iced tea maker took a dump. Are there any better alternatives?

My wife and I have been using the Mr. Coffee teamaker for 5 years with ZERO Problems!

I just use my coffeemaker.

8 regular size teabags
water to the 8 cup level
clean out the filter basket
brew and let steep for 10 minutes


put 1 cup of sugar in the pitcher, pour the hot tea over the sugar and stir so it will melt. add cold water until you get to the 1 gallon mark. fill a glass with ice, pour and enjoy.
