I already have anything there I would really want:

plasma, xbox 360, camera, ipod, gps, vacuum, lcd, nice mouse/keyboard, nice printer, nice home stereo, nice car stereo

what else? The only thing I could think of is kitchen appliances, but mine all work fine, and $500 isn't enough to replace them all

A good power conditioner also improves sound fidelity and sometimes cable picture clarity.
