Canadian: Our entire population buys insurance as a group, thus creating a big risk share pool, lowering coverage cost.
American: That is communism! We buy our own insurance in much smaller groups.

Yeah, I really can't believe their argument is based around that while ignoring that's fundamentally how insurance fucking works regardless of it being public or privately managed (and really, right now, we've got the worst of both, public oversight that has little actual teeth with private firms that can free decided to tell you to go fuck yourself).

But then, the absurdity and ignorance which conservatives display shouldn't surprise me any more. And they're really trying to gloat about it too, which is almost laughable because of how they can't even do that without whining worse than anyone I know.
