m pretty sure that in my computer:

winchester 3500
leadtek6800gt
2x yte loon on 7volt
samsung 160gb hd
7000alcu zalman heatink
and the chipsetcooler on my dfi lanparty nf4 mobo

the chipset cooler and the leadtek videocard fan are the two loudest. my yateloons are louder than expected but its mostly turbulence. so anyway is that zalman thing any good? for my 6800gt or a silencer?

oh the 6800gt is oc to 430/1.15
i can go higher but my comp resets during games. i think its cus of psu 🙁

You are most likely right.

The Zalman VF-700 is the best aftermarket GPU HS/F. You will also want to put a passive Zalman heatsink on the north bridge.

unless u dont know what the dfi lanparty nf4 mobo loosk like. the 6800gt pci e slot barley touches the northbridge cooler. so i doubt i will be able to use a passive cooler unless it goes aroudnteh video card which id oubt anybody desgisn specifically for one board. 🙁 the chipset fan spins at liek 4k rpm which is also pretty loud. i need mroe input on the zalman vf-700 being best aftermarket. i lvoe zalman but id like more input

Yeah, I thought you might have that problem; it's a really stupid location for the NB. Go over to the SPCR forums check out this post in particular. You'll find a wealth of information and several users who have all ready tackled exactly what you want to undertake.

Generally the consensus is the Zalman cools better while making less noise then the AC Silencer. The AC doesn?t move enough air though its duct to make a significant measurable difference in case temps.

oh yea i have heard silenver is weak faned. and i agree i love the zalman desgin and zalman everything 🙂. i might get the zalman but firs ti gotta do my research

Search the Cases & Cooling section + the Video section. There should be some good reviews, including my own 🙂

I have the NV silencer 5 on my 6800GT, it exhausts the air from the inside of the case out the back, is 100% dead silent, and keeps the card at a nice cool 45C even with the side of my case closed. I think the Zalman is good too, but I like the air exhaust ability of the NV silencer.

well the air exhaust might be a good idea since my video card is RIGHT near my chipset. and my chipset is HOT. i have a superlanboy and i took out the hd cages to allow more airflow. the chipset idles in high 30s and loa dis liek almost 50s.. and at 50 it makes the chipset fan go HIGH RPM which maeks it even louder. and to make it even mroe annoying the temp actually throttles form leik 48 to 50 to 49 to 52 which maeks it go on and off and on and off. well i fixed it by makign high rpm for 55 degrees but its WAY to hot.
