Geez, I just receive my 6800 gt (LEADTEK A400) like few hours ago, and I slot it in, boot, and.....

I hear a VERY LOUD "BEEEEEEEEEEEEP". Took me about 5mins to figure out the sound was coming from a speaker located on the card. (see URL) (same sorta speaker there are on modems)

Well there's nothing that show up on the screen...

Two things : Blank screen and a BEEEEP!

I've read around my book and couldn't find anything that talk about it, and the few searches I've done trought google haven't got me very far yet...

so my question would be the following : WTF?!

**EDIT**
I had a prob with a 12v connector, prob fixed thanks peeps

I know this is basic trouble shooting, but it is a start:

Pull the card out, reseat the card. Make sure it is pushed ALL the way down in the AGP slot. If not you could be getting the error plus no video. Also make sure that you don't have the card in the agp pro portion of the slot, if you have a mobo that supports agp pro.

That's a new one on me brudda. I presume you have the extra power connector hooked up and that you have a rrelatively beefy PSU with a strong 12v rating? Card is fully seated, and the fan is plugged in?

Aight, I've already tried re-seating the card, aswell as tryting to boot WITH and WITHOUT the 12v connector :|

I think this usually happens if the power connector isn't right. I'd make sure it has it's own line from the Power Supply if possible.
