Who the F buys a 23" LCD TV? It's got the same picture size of a 14" regular TV.

..leave it out at the curb and go get nother one..put some chicken wire up in front of new panel so ya don't screw it up.

No, you're still the idiot, b/c you asked everyone how much it'd cost to repair. Quit being a tool.

OH WOW. Maybe they can regrow and heal your LCD :Q

You have a $50 paperweight. Sucks to be you.

If the only problem is a cracked LCD screen, you need to purchase the part. Seeing as the parts are always insanely marked up going through the local repair store probably means they'll charge you a small fortune for the screen and $$$ to install it. I wouldn't be suprised to see the bill be $1500.
If you have a friend who can purchase parts directly from Sony or their parts distributor at wholesale prices you'll do a lot better.

Actually I've seen tv repairsmen use liquid crystal to repair cracks in LCDs. All they did was let it run through the cracks and it would instantly heal. Well instant meaning labour wise. It took about 24 hours for it to completely dry up.

you bought a broken thing without a plan to fix it ? nice way to dump your money down the crapper
