about two years ago, I bought a LCD monitor (ok, my parents bought it, every other component of my PC was bought by me though), it was a 151MP from Samsung.
Ok the interesting thing was that it came with a "damaged" pixel, not a dead one but a permanently red one. Ok no big deal, a friend of mine had a 17'' LCD from samsung with a blue one. The *really* strange thing, is that about 2-3 months after I got it, that pixel was working fine, no red anymore, it was fixed somehow. Grrreat...!
But since then I've asked myself, how that would happen? No clue, anyone? I didn't "rub" it or treated it in any way.
The bad ending is, for me, that some weeks ago my house was robbed, those b**ches took my monitor of course, along with my MP3 player and oakley glasses... damn =(
