This film was shot over the course of 3 weekends and was my final project for my Directing the Narrative class. I hope you enjoy it. I worked damn hard on this project and I think it turned out well. It's on youtube and is longer than 10 minutes so it is in 2 parts. I've put it on google but it's taking forever to process, I'll post a link when it's done processing.

Without further adieu...

Part 1
Part 2

The whole thing @ Google

IMO the acting and filming (broad variaty of angles) were good! But at the beginning I didn't know if I'm looking at something funny or more action-loaded so I think the script could be improved with either more jokes or a bit more tension. For more action you could cut away some seconds here and there, but making cuts often is a good thing in general as it adds to the pace of your movie. Also I noticed the absence of music and want to ask you if you decided against it on purpose.

I've made my first (very amateurish) movie project this year and must say that I underestimated the volume of raw material that is needed to put together a good scene and how much work it costs to put the snippets together to get something easily understandable.

I hope you plan on filming other projects because your class CAN do it but remember that there are loads of work to be done before and after the camera runs. I hope this doesn't sound like from a high horse because I'm certainly not in the position to criticise like that :)

This was my project, I produced, directed, and was the cinematographer. I'm a film major at Savannah college of art and design. It was a total pain to make this film, but I think it turned out well, thanks for the comments. Google Video link added...

Not bad although there are a few moments when not much is going on, it's really hard to put across tension with silence via the internet, might be different watching on a tv
