What are the stats on the center diamond?

Did you get raped by some mall jewelry store?

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not that dumb. It's 1K, G-IF (flawless).

An expensive one to boot. 1 carat G IF diamonds don't come cheap.

Unless you paid $1k (in which case you are missing the $) the popular belief might not far from the truth.

Karat == measure of purity.

Carat == measurement of mass (typically gemstone)

1K is junk metal

1C is a fairly large gemstone

Oh and IF does not mean flawless. It means internally flawless. The stone can still have external blemishes.

Finally... size/color/clarity all play second fiddle to cut. A poorly cut 2C stone can look smaller than a hearts and arrows 1C stone.

Either way congrats and remember to insure it (I recommend Chubb Insurance, cash value payout ftw).

Binister, you're a comedian right? But yeah, a bit of googling will tell you that FL and IF are in the flawless classification (IF = internal flawless... imagine that :confused: ) and I can't find any flaws externally with a microscope, good enough for me. It's certified as IF, bite me. And in case you're wondering how much I paid for it? About $5 (that's five dollars) at Wal-Mart, financed.

So it's CZ? Or maybe Moissanite?

There is no such thing as a flawless diamond, Material Science 101. However now there are man-made diamonds now that are flawless and already being campaigned against by De Beers. They're not synthetic, they're actual diamonds.

I accidentally bought 60 CDs off of ebay. I had multiple windows up, and hit purchase on the wrong one.... Hopefully I can get this resolved with the seller. Fun fun.
