My laptop screen hurts my eyes

I'm sitting the ISTC lobby, and they have some funky red tile floor stuff in here. When I'm focused on the screen (which is sitting soundly in my lap) the geometry and color fades seriously mess with my head. The *FLOOR* is cramping my nef style.

I'm not. I'm sitting on a chair-thing. It's the background of the floor's geometry that's f'ing things up. ... And the chick sitting in front of me just put makeup on her Dell.
