my ex is taking the kids to see grandma (doctor says she has less then a year to live) today. so i was rushing around getting them ready.

I was coming down the stairs and slipped and slid on my ass all the way down.

i was siting on the floor in pain. my daughter runs up and says "DAD i think we need to take you to the DR!"

i said no its ok i just hurt it..to witch she replies "but I think you broke it! it has a crack in it!" and runs off laughing...

Speaking of kids saying funny things. Last year around this time of year one of my nephews picked up a Halloween decoration leg off the ground in the neighbor's yard and asked "Is this the leg of Terry Fox?". I thought that was pretty amusing.

Kids do say some funny stuff. Just this last week, my son (2.5 years old) told me to "be gentle to his poop" when I was cleaning him up.

My friend's son (who is 4) had a hard time pronouncing words that start with "h." He always started those words with a "kuh" sound, as if they started with a k. So he would say kair insted of hair, cow instead of how, etc.

One day, my friend tells me that she and her husband are out in the backyard barbequing. All of her sudden her son comes running to her screaming, "the cocks are coming! The cocks are coming to peck my eyes out!" Turns out he saw two red tail hawks flying in the sky, and was convinced that they were going to attack him.
