I have a abit kg7 raid mobo, running raid 0 (striping). Anyways, for some weird reason my computer stopped working all of a sudden... would just continuously crash like mad. I decided to reinstall windows xp, at first i disabled the raid because it was all screwy when trying to install it... after winxp was installed i enabled the raid in my bios and when windows booted up it found the 'mass storage controller' but could not install the driver for it (when it was working the driver came with winxp -- uses the HPT370 chipset i think). Either way it says:
'An error occured during the installation of the device: The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.'

how do i fix this? and if i can't fix this let me ask this question, are all raid 0 arrays the same? for example, can i go out and buy a new pci raid card or a new pci mobo and plug in my hds to reaccess the data??? they were 2 80gb drives so thats 160gb of stuff i have to recover i would rather just plugit all back in and sort out the mess

thanks
