My KeyTronic just died :(

My beloved KeyTronic E03623ELSVKTC-C keyboard just died on me after a small amount of water was spilled on it.
Had to switch back to the Compaq standard POS with all these annoying internet buttons I never use.

I opened up the KeyTronic to see if it's fixeable but it's difficult to take the damn thing apart.
I am wearing a black badge today.
🙁

Open it up, turn it upside down, let it dry for a few days.

If it was only water that spilled in there, there's a good chance it'll come back from the dead.

u weep over a 11 dollar keyboard 😉

heh take it apart, its easy. might be some screws unders stickers mind u. u must take it apart, if water seeps between the sheets of circuits they will corrode. i know cuz i've let em corrode b4🙂 takes but 24 hours😛

Opening it up is no biggie, but taking the sheet and keys off is a PITA.
Yeah, I weep over a $11 keyboard because it's a Scandinavian keyoard. No where to be found in the US. 😉

I really like the feel of my KeyTronic Keyboard, but lately I'm trying to make everything as quiet as possible in my place so I can sell it to you if you likfe. I plan on replacing this with one of the dell quiet key black keyboards.
