My Keyboard Annihilated Itself

This morning I boot up my computer, and as I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to enter my password, my computer starts beeping randomly. I stop hitting keys, but the beeping doesn't stop. So I turn off my computer, let it sit for a while, and when I go to turn it on, it gets to the logon screen. The mouse works fine, but I need to enter my password, and the keyboard isn't working at all. No beeps this time.

I tried a different keyboard, and had no better luck.

I tried resetting my BIOS, and it didn't fix itself. Now the BIOS settings are wrong, and I need to fix them before it will boot into windows. So I think I am probably worse off now than I was before.

Is there any way to solve this problem? It happened pretty much out-of-the-blue; I didn't change anything in the BIOS before it happened. The motherboard is an Abit KR7A-133. That is the only thing I can imagine is to blame.

So... any ideas?

if you have another computer networked, you could try remote desktop connection if its enabled to log back into your computer.

Will a USB keyboard work in the BIOS? If it does then that is what I will try next.

Logging onto my computer remotely does me no good. :p I need to have a working computer.
