My job sucks...

and I've been working 10-16 hour days for 3 weeks now...... ARGH!!! 6 Months of nothing to do except nef all day and then I get a truck load of work and it's all due in 2 weeks =/ As if I didn't have enough to do I was given even more since I've been nusting my butt and almost finished what I had. My reward? I have to do a review on a 366 page test plan, update a document that hasn't seen the light of day in about 4 years with all changes made to a major software product since then... yah they decided they finally want to use this thing and it's about 900 pages too long and I have no idea where to begin and neither does anyone else around here. Throw in the fact that the project I JUST TURNED IN, has new requirement creep at the last minute. I was making an addition to some software packages for an export feature with a database for reference to the exported files. The importing was suppose to come later when the customer decided what they wanted. Instead they decided they wanted it now with the export feature since they are using Cost Plus to pay for it anyhow.

Frikking moronic management! I have to take the slack made by others by working 16 hour days and since I'm salary... you guessed it, I don't get a dime more.

And funny cause I was the first one in this morning and I'm the only person that's been here for the last 2 hours. Hell, the cleaning people just left the office. So you should just give up trying to impersonate people. No one else here at work knows what the hell these forums are.

Tell management to do it. Or pawn it off on an intern or something. If those don't work, you can always pay someone to do some of the work.

Also, tell management to give you some stock options for motivation.

If I could delegate I would. Small office with about 7 people on the contract. There are no interns here or I would. Now at the main office in Alabama there are plenty of interns... we are just a small branch division of the company supporting various contracts out here. About 40 something people here on various contracts. The only thing I have to look forward to is a LOT of free time after October passes. Stupid fiscal year. While I don't get a time more, I get to take what extra time I put in.

As for neffing. Bleh, I can read two pages at once. I have my document on the left side of this window and I'm reading both the forums and this when I'm at a computer that can get to the internet. Been stuck working at a computer for 2 weeks that couldn't which is why I hadn't posted anything in 2 weeks.
