Isn't Creative the only company offering a hdd bigger than 40gb? At any rate, 20-40 should be enough to, if not hold your entire collection (mine just crept past the 40gb mark, actually), at least hold plenty for listening purposes. If you wanted to use it as a backup for your collection, isn't that pretty much a no-go with ipods anyway? Something about deleting everything on the ipod if you try copying music to a computer other than the one you installed it on or somesuch...
