my ipod is frozen :(

so my ipod froze at 9:42 pm. it is stuck on the circle with the line through it and the words Do not disconnect on it. it isnt responding to anything at all. anybody know of like a reset on this thing?

If it's third generation, hold the menu and play/pause button for about 5 seconds and it should restart. The apple logo should appear and then it should "wake up"
 
If it's a 3g switch the hold switch on. Then switch it off and immediately press and hold the play and menu buttons until the apple logo appears. If that doesn't work (and I've had it not work for me before) just wait til the battery dies and then you're good again.

Dude, you have no fvcking idea. I love my ipod to death but this can be a tempermental piece of sh!t sometimes. I've even had just plugging it in cause random reboots in my uber stable rig. Go figure.
 
my 2g locks up all the time these days... walking uphill usually causes it. Although it's fine when I hold it in my hands. Ahh well it's a good machine.
