My iPhone 3GS isn't able to connect to my wifi

I'm having a hard time getting my iPhone to connect with my wifi signal from my router in my apartment.

I can access my signal from my phone's wifi settings but when I enter the password my phone doesn't populate the IP Address/subnet mask/router/dns/search domains/client ID categories.

I'm able to connect to my neighbors signal just fine but his signal sucks. His signal is also password protected.

My router is a D-link Wireless n 150 home router

Yep, connecting bug not getting an IP address means the key is wrong. Also you should be using WPA2-AES pre-shared key for security. It's possible you're using WPA-TKIP which I doubt the phone supports.
