My iPad wifi speed has double once I updated to IOS 5

For 18 months, I always pulled 16mb down over wifi. Hardwired PC does 36-40mb.

Then ios 5 came out and now I'm hitting 27-29. Is anyone else seeing similar results? Was there something in the release I missed?

iOS5 is just awesome? I just love wireless synching and the fact that you can still your your iPad while it is synching. And with iCloud, it becomes truly PC free now.

I could NEVER hold wi-fi after the iPad slept for a short time. Now with iOS 5 the damn thing is working 100% + feels all around faster.

Couldn't have been a better update for me.

Well, mine constantly crashes in Safari and some apps. I eventually read that you could stop most of the crashes by turning off iCloud and that did in fact reduce the crashing by 70%. That so far is the only drawback.
