This is not computer hardware related so it won't go anywhere else really. I have Bellsouth DSL and when it rains it goes out. The phone also goes out. Now when it dries all is good. I have seperated the inside wiring from the ourside. The junction box for the main line is seperate from the junction box for my house wireing. I've tested every line inside and they are fine (no shorts etc). That is out of the equation. I can plug in a phone into the box and get no dial tone when the phones inside are out. When I call the phone company they wait a day for a guy to make a visit to my house plug into the junction box and say it's fine because it's dry! They won't come when it's wet and see that the problem is their line and not my wiring. It is their responsibility to fix, but they won't fix what they cannot say is bad. Now the problem is when I call them out they charge me a service call! They plug in say it's fine (when it isn't) and then charge me $50 which I refuse to pay.
Any ideas guys?
