And it was allright for the first 4 month. Today the light went off, then went on again, and after 10 min off again. I unplugged the USB and replugged it, works for 1 hour. Then cursor freezes. Ok, i reboot, the lights went off, ok reboot again, fine, then the cursor became "SLOW",back button don't work, on and on and on......................................................

Microsoft has extremely good support for their hardware. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll fix things (probably cross ship you a new one) nice and quick.

You won't need the receipt, just the product ID number and they'll make you run through few loops to see if it isn't you/your system that's buggy to begin with. They don't even ask you to return that bad one either, they'll just send you a new one ASAP.

It's probably a bad connection with the wire and mouse. Move the wire around near the mouse and the light may turn off/on.

This happened to my old IE mouse. Microsoft sent me a new one.

"Officially" Freaked Out, is that a Microsoft-certified freak-out or something? Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I think its past my bedtime....

Blunga, what number did you call and what did you tell them?

I think the Intellimouse Explorer I have is dying also... freezes up, gotta take it off the surface and put it back to get it moving and sometimes the sensitivity dies to a real slow speed... Pretty sure it's dying. And I got this when it first came out.

Thanks.

Ya, my dad's IE mouse did the same thing. Awesome mouse though...mine is working just fine.
