Wow, I pay by the quarter... every 3 months my bill is $120.
That's for full coverage on a grand caravan and liability on a ford escort for me and my wife.

These threads make me feel soooooo happy :)
I just need to see another mortgage thread :)

Chances are you make more than the average person or have a really good credit score. Credit scores factor in at a large percentage to determine your insurance rate.

GEICO FTW. Progressive was 1.5 - 2x as expensive for very similar coverage ('99 Honda Civic Hatchback). 24 y/o, squeeky clean record - $259 / 6 mo for 3rd party coverage.
I can't imagine those of you paying 4 figure sums :Q Heck, I got my car for only $5500 w/25K miles.

You should call First Trenton. Trust me and they are a dependable company as well when stuff goes wrong. They are A rated and good rates.

i believe NJ has THE highest average insurance premiums in the nation. I used to pay Allstate 2400/year for liability only on my '87 Camry when I was about 21. I now use NJ Manufacturers and they've been great! I get yearly premium reductions now. Too bad I'm thinking about selling my car now since I never get to drive it anymore.
