my IE keeps freexing my PC!!??

when i do anything else, my pc is fine. when i go to certain websites, (like columbia house) my pc freezes!! also, it freezes when i am switching through too many windows at once. is it my IE thats corrupted?

What type of system/OS/hardware are you using? Can you give us some more details?

sorry about that.

i have a p3 with 256 rdram. a gf2 gts 32 mb. 40 gb ibm. sb live.

i am running w2k pro with sp2 and ie 6.

the only time this ever happened before was when my previous hd was bad. but in that case, anything i did froze my pc. this time it is only when i surf the net.

any ideas??
