Ok how fun does this sound?

Any of you who visit the "Hot Deals" section are familiar with the many bargains that people can get online. And we all like to dream about utopean scenarios of really cheap PC's and we love to hear about ridiculously cheap PC's people buy (or if we've just spend heaps on a system we hate to hear about it 🙂)

So a bunch of people submit spec's of systems they could make from online parts. Then the people who have the absolute cheapest PC spec's (and I mean the rock bottom ones) that are also pretty powerfull, get to try to actually put together the system.

The winner would be the person who actually buys and puts together a system in, say a week, and has the cheapest price and best value for money!

It would of course have to be sponsored by our very own Anandtech.com 'cause this place rocks!

Eh?? Eh?? how good does that sound??

And an article could be made about the winning system so everyone could go make it!


Anyway I think this is an great idea and everyone should get behind it and make it happen!!!

Well some of us dont get them very often i.e ME
