My hulk thread

I think I was the only guy defending this movie, like I said earlier they wouldn't make it unless it was just that good. I didn't like the camera shots sometimes where they show many angle's at once and some other inconsistencies in the size of the hulk but then you could always say that he is bigger when he is angrier etc, another thing is why does water come out when he transforms back? Anyone notice Jen connelly's eye brows were a little thick, kinda like to resemble her father in the role, who had a unibrow. The graphics were amamzing and the character interaction with the environment was great, and when the hulk was sandy it looked really good and when he was wet, the same. And of cource, I like how he hit that dog in the nuts 😉 Otherwise a little long and a lot of lose ends until the end where they tie things up quickly, and why did his father want to kill him and then killed the mother instead and took the kid away? was he in shock and then didn't want to kill the kid after that? Ang lee probably wasn't in charge of the battle scenes, but they were nice and lots of destruction, like when he threw that guy that zapped him with the stun gun into the other guy and he smack against the ground, that must have hurt. So well animated I loved the way he ran and jumped around especially when he landed and kinda did a little bounce. Still he was tooooooooooo big for hulk who should be around seven feet tall.

This movie SUCKED in every respect. Acting was horrible. CGI was laughable. WAY too long. The ending was a total and complete joke.

That was the worst review I've ever read. How old are you, 10?

Ang Lee did an INCREDIBLE job visually porting the comic book to the big screen.
The Hulk was larger-than-life with great comic-book style FX (realism was NOT the intention here despite many people's complaints)
I loved the multi-panel transitions. Part comic-book, part 60's "Hulk" series homage.

HOWEVER, the plot SUCKED HUGE, GREEN, TEN-FOOT HULK-SIZED BALLS. Oh good lord.

My friend summed it up perfectly: "A flashback INSIDE A FLASHBACK!? WTF!"

Less inane chatter and more kicking dogs in nuts plz.

And I concur with above poster. Ending was the biggest piece of crap ever.
I'll still buy the DVD tho because I LIKE CRACK.

I said that I didn't have time to write a long review or edit it for mistakes or clarity, Ang Lee sucks, and it was the art dept. that made the movie great. There was nothing to port, the hulk is an entity that runs himself, and I still don't understand why water comes out of him when he shrinks down.

Yes, more kicking dogs in the nuts, and SMASHING

I agree

From Justin to Kelly was better.

I am not kidding either, I sat through part of the movie and liked it much more.

Nick Nolte did a hell of a job acting, you don't know what acting is, and the ending was striaght, leaves room for many sequals, and i'm not 10

It wasn't as good as X2, but it was good.

Probably from the air, or it is sweat. Think about how much heat he must give off during the transformation.

Killing the mom was an accident. He wanted to get rid of the mistake he made. Not sure why he didn't go through with it in the end. Or the MPs came and got him, can't remember.

Split your posts up into paragraphs, or better formed sentances. It will be a lot easier for people to read, understand, and reply.

thanks for the civil reply. I think, being a little physics major, that he abosorbed air and water for the transformation, to make the scells bigger, he may have used osmosis to make his cells grow, that is why when he was in the capsule(water filled) and he started to grow, it did not break right away like it should have because as we all know, or atleast some of us, that water has one of the most dense molecular structures, and hence, can not be compressed so if the hulk expanded a little that thing that he was in would have shattered, but it didn't for a while, and when he was fully grown, it started to leak, I could only understand that as the Hulk absorbing the water to make his transformation, or else where would he have gotten all the added mass, this is my logical explaination.

I read paragrahips that are pages long in books, even my term papers have to have eight sentences for a paragraph, wtf are all these replies about paragraphs?!?!?! 😕

Because your sentences are very run on.

When dealing with poorly written posts, books, stories, articles, etc it is very tough to read big chunks. If your thoughts are broken down sufficiently, it is much easier to get past the writing style and grammar. Sorry, but your posts can be tough to read. Remember, most members of ATOT are from the US, and we have short attention spans.
