My HTPC is DONE!

I just finished putting together my HTPC, and I think I'm finally satisfied. I don't have an OS on it yet (I'm gonna get XPMC2005, and then install it), but the hardware seems to work fine, and it works with my TV great.

The specs of the computer are in the picture, and the TV is a Samsung HL-P5085W 50" HLP HDTV. I decided not to include a TV tuner in this system, as the TV looks pretty crappy with non-HDTV programs, and the only HDTV tuner I know of is ATI's, which makes me have a big antenna sticking out. Until I can share the signal from my comcast box with my TV and computer, no tv tuner for me!

Suggestions and comments are welcome!

bleh, imageshack hates me. never works on Firefox or even IE. I got a thumbnail eventually tho, looks sweet!

Personal preference, I dont like the decor or the design of the TV.

Opinion.... Thats going to be sweet for movies. Hope the sound system is good enough to back it up. Imagine playing games on that baby 😀rool;

Wow, that display and stand is very impressive. I would push the component rack over to the corner instead and bring out the speakers a little more, the way you position the speakers (especially stereo) makes a huge difference.

I agree but it looks like the cables might not reach. The stand is fugly but hey when the lights are out I'm sure it will be cool. 😉

Got the TV for about $3600 shipped and with an extra warranty (damn bulbs burn out within 2-3 years), plus the stand which was $300, plus the computer which is around $800, plus cables, the DVD player, etc. it's about $5K.
