My HS principal was killed yesterday.

Some fucker was running from the cops and crashed head on into him. School just started on Monday and he's dead on Wednesday. He had been in the school system as a coach, teacher, and principal since 1974.

Not that it improves the current situation, but at least that idiot killed himself too. About the only thing worse than what happened would be the idiot killing a good man and surviving himself.

Both victims? The article only mentions the criminal and his victim dying.

If he means the officer knew the criminal well, then I have to question the wisdom of chasing him at 120 mph. You don't need to catch him right then if you know who he is. Go to his house and pick him up later.

That was my initial thought too. But I found out today that the cops stopped chasing him a few miles back and just let him go.
