My house phone isn't a fax machine.

Lateley I've been getting calls from unknown numbers and when I answer it just beeps...since somebody is trying to send a fax here. What can I do about this? It's like 15 different numbers.

hookup a fax machine/dial-up modem and see what comes in.
Then send them an endless loop fax back.

With a lot of text/images on it.

I was thinking a full black sheet of paperwould've been a much better idea

When loading the OS for client locations, if the broadband fails and the router dial backup fails the server dials out on its internal modem. If whether or not the location needs to dial 9 is unknown (and it usually is) a second connection is created that uses a 9 in front of the 888 number, therefore if the above conditions are met and the location actually doesn't have to use a nine the location will automatically call the number (local area code) 918-88xx

verizon recently called the company and told us to knock it off :)

(2000 locations btw, though the odds of everything alligning are slim).
