Setup a webcam and stream yourself hula dancing at a high resolution? Better yet, get some hot cocktail waitresses into your room and stream them hula dancing. sans clothing. :p

Wow. Most hotels make you pay like $10 a night for crap speeds. Good job.

I was trying to figure that out--the tests at broadband reports didn't recognize the ISP.

Here's what tracert says:

http://www.atx.com/ is the name of the company that owns 146.145.x.x. The Borgata leases 146.145.4.x from atx I assume. I wonder if it's a QOS controlled fractional T3?

Note that I have 3 downloads on uTorrent going on while I did this test (553Kbps down/2.2Mbps up on uTorrent).

Oh well, time to wait for my...entertainment...to download. I'm going to Bobby Flay's steakhouse and then hittin' the casino!

I remember the connection in NYC where there were 20 pc stations and each one had a public IP with 100mbps full duplex connection and tested 100 both ways. There were redundant OC48's in that building and most of the bandwidth was for medical imaging in another department. Our leased office bought a fiber link off that connection for $500 a month which is a lot of money but when you think about what the equipment costs it was cheap! :Q

When I say public I mean public too! If you shared out your C drive and went to another pc (or any pc on the net with wide open access) and typed in \\IP you saw everything!

With that connection I'd hit up the 3 day trial on usenetserver.com.
