I thought they were mostly made in Georgetown, Kentucky? Perhaps because mine was an SE it was made in Japan?

It says 70% parts from US/Canada and 20% from Japan, dunno where the other 10% is.

Goto C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{CRAzy letters}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Local settings is a hidden folder, so it application data. The files you want are pretty much what is there.

Even simpler, check the 1st position. J = Japan, 1 = USA, 2 = Canada.

Georgetown is the main Toyota plant.

I think RossMAN has been working in a bank too long. Perhaps a yield curve inversion is getting to him or something.

Ross original question for this thread was where to backup the Outlook express files, but he edited it to ask about where Hondas are made:disgust:

That's odd. I thought only 5-speeds came from Japan. I know my 91 came from over there, prolly b/c it is a 5-speed.

Kinda strange that they would ship 70% of the parts from here, assemble it in Japan and then send the completed car back here again.

I know, maybe I'm reading the label wrong but it says 70% US/Canada but it's assembled in Japan?

Well if they use mass as the main indicator and build the frame (if it has one) body, tires, wheels and axels over here this could account for~ 50% of the mass but only ~20% of the vechile cost since motor, electronics, transmisson gauges together are lighter but cost more to produce. I guess the easiest way to do it though is by mass.
