No, I have nothing against hispanics. But I do have a problem involving them.

Somehow, in the various "marketing databases" floating around, someone (mistakenly?) marked me as "Hispanic".

So now I get FIOS ads online at my home in Spanish.

I also get printed Comcast letters at home, urging me to switch to their triple-play "Latino" packages, in Spanish.

I think that this is both annoying, and disgusting.

While it is true that I've taken a few years of Spanish classes in HS, I AM NOT HISPANIC.

And due to lax data-protection laws, I have no legal recourse against these marketing databases that I am aware of.

You're complaining? That's a good thing. It spreads confusion through the network, and obfuscates your true nature. Embrace your Latin roots ;^)

Dominican family moved in next door and all of a sudden I see roaches in my apartment. I haven't seen one in years until the day they came.

Sounds like a good reason to learn spanish, to me.

I always get stuff from lesbian organizations.
So I thought what the heck. I'll give it a try.
At least I won't need to learn lebanese. :D
