I just posted a thread about this in ATOT (since it was such a goofy story). The strangest bit about this strange story is this IMO:

Police said Perala took off his shirt and put on safety glasses before throwing around computers, phones and other items.

That's a great story I wish I were crazy enough to do.

Reminds me of that story wih barkey dogs 24/7, nieghbor even bought bark collars for the dogs, offered to take them for walks, call animal control about 30X and the dog owner was unresponsive. One night when he had to be up at 6am for work the next day, woof woof woof as usual he dumped two .45cal in each dogs skull. The poilce arrived as it was happening because hecalled them to tell em hes had it. Should have shot the owner but at least he can sleep in a 6x9 in peace now.:)

Imagining the employees yelling at him in the typical Noreaster accent just makes it all the funnier.

Why? Had they physicall approached him or touched him I could see why he went postal. It seems like he just went postal for nothing. Nothing heroic about it. :(

I know a couple that lost their 2 teenage daughters from a guy rear ending thier auto while reaching for his cell phone. The Highway Patrol here in Ohio freely admitts that cell phones are responsible for more accidents than driving while intoxicated. If it were not for the lawmakers who love their cells they would be banned from cars.

Caminetto:

I've stopped riding my bike on the highways and streets because these damn suburban realtors are driving around with a cell phone in their ears closing deals. One of my neighbors who I specifically told to stop riding in our neighborhood (we have bike lanes) because I had been hit twice here, ignored me and was hit last Sunday going into a round-a-bout by some old woman with purple hair who was talking to her granddaughter on the cell phone. (My neighbor says that's what she told the policewoman.)

Meanwhile, in Texas (Austin, I believe), a woman who had ridden her bicycle all over the country and was, herself, about 55 years old, was killed 10 days ago by a guy on a cell phone who hit her with his side mirror while trying to pass at a high rate of speed.

Yeah, I hate cell phones, and as long as no one was hurt, major props to the guy. If I were around I'd post the guy's bail. :)

Oh, and cell phone service here in Central Florida sucks so badly someone needs to file a class action against the major carriers. Sprint is the pits....

Finally, for the money I pay for my wife's and daughter's cell phones I could buy a new racing bike every year. What a complete waste!!!
